A Message from Pastor Josh Newberry:

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ! We as the people of Centertown United Methodist Church are in constant and daily prayer for all who are and have been effected by the COVID-19 virus. These are indeed challenging times in which we are discovering new ways to worship, live, and serve in our community while at the same time doing all we reasonably can to love one another by keeping one another safe. Make no mistake, doing all we can to protect one another is an act of love! We will continue to faithfully live out our covenant to give our prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness with our community. While we are gathering as safely as we can, there are those vulnerable persons among us who do not feel comfortable being physically present as of yet. We do affirm those persons and seek to connect and give opportunities for them to faithfully participate in the life of the church. If you would like to participate in the giving of our tithes and offerings online, you are invited to set up a one-time or recurring gift at: https: give.givingkiosk.com/App/Giving/cumc or you can click on the Green Donate App Box on the right side of this page. You are also invited to mail your gifts to Centertown United Methodist Church at 335 West Green Hill Rd., McMinnville, TN, 37110. Please contact the Church Office at (931)939-3701 if you have any questions or need any assistance. May God bless us all as we seek to serve God in all we say and do!

Welcome to
Centertown United Methodist Church

Centertown United Methodist Church is composed of a dynamic congregation that is a Spirit filled, progressive community of believers who welcome all people. We are disciples of Jesus Christ.

With open hearts, we believe that living a life inspired by God’s love compels us to offer help, hope, and healing to those looking for more meaning in their lives.

With open minds, we believe God’s grace is available to all people, no matter where you are from, what you look like, or what you have done.

With open doors, we believe in welcoming others into our lives, but also in taking action outside the walls of the church to serve our neighbors, next door and around the world.

We offer inviting and inspiring worship.
We are engaged disciples in mission and outreach projects
We have inspired clergy leadership
We offer access to small group ministries
We have strong children’s and youth ministry programs.

Centertown UMC is not just a place where people spend an hour on Sunday. We think about ‘church’ as a verb instead of a noun! Come, join us. You will be welcomed with opened arms.
